Constructed in 1981, Hope Springs Manor was originally designed as a sprawling, generational family homestead and Triplex. Boasting over 6,100 square feet of living space on 2.29 acres just ouside the corporation limit of Orrville Ohio, it carries a deep history of warmth and shelter for large family and church gatherings.
Recently acquired and thoughtfully renovated by Hope Springs Ventures, LLC, the estate has been transformed into a unified single dwelling as one of Orrville's premier group retreats. We've preserved the home's massive scale and historic charm while infusing it with modern comfort, an inviting color palette, and premium amenities. The gorgeous outdoor covered wrap-around porch is a great place to sit and relax, with a 27 foot covered deck on the back of the home overlooking cornfields and nature. There is a heated and cooled, 5-car garage for parking, or where large gatherings can be held, or even indoor play to get out of any inclement weather. We offer a fully equipped RV parking spot with a 50 Amp electrical connection with sewer and water hookup for anyone who wants to bring their RV along to join in the fun. There are chickens on site, and guests are welcome to collect fresh eggs each and every morning. 2 friendly goats (Ares and Nugget) are happy to eat animal crackers right out of your hands through the fenced in paddock. and are gentle with children of all ages.
With a total of 8 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 7 total bathrooms (5 full, 2 half), The Hope Springs Manor ensures that everyone in your group of 24 has a private, comfortable space to unwind without fighting for the shower. All bathrooms include plenty of amenities like Body Wash, Shampoo, Soaps and Lotions. Forgot your Toothbrush or Razor, no problem. We even include individually sealed Razors, Toothbrushes and Toothpaste. There is a private one bedroom apartment with a cozy sitting room and fully functional kitchen upstairs that can be closed off from the rest of the home for even greater privacy. All upper and lower level South-facing rooms have large windows for looking out over the property.

Yes, we are a dog-friendly estate! We allow up to 2 dogs inside the home (restricted to the main level only; no pets allowed upstairs). For outdoor play, or if you have additional dogs, we provide a fenced-in "mini dog park" run located underneath the back deck, complete with a built-in doghouse and shelter. We kindly ask that you use the provided bags to clean up after your pets and place waste in the designated bins.
Yes. The main level is fully accessible from the garage via a ramp located at the back of the house. We have a dedicated Queen Suite on the main floor that includes a fully wheelchair-accessible en-suite bathroom, ensuring comfortable accommodation without the need to navigate stairs.
You will have the firepower to cook for a massive crowd! The estate features two fully functional kitchens. The main kitchen includes a 4-burner induction stove and oven, while the upstairs apartment kitchen offers a convection oven/microwave combo and a 2-burner induction cooktop. In total, you have access to 2 full-size refrigerators, a coffee bar with a mini-fridge and sink, 3 microwaves, a toaster oven, a crockpot, and 2 large electric cookers. We provide all necessary silverware, induction-compatible pots and pans, and 2 Keurig coffee machines stocked with 100 complimentary K-cups.
Absolutely! Hope Springs Manor is the perfect backdrop for weddings, graduation parties, and birthdays. Daytime visitors are entirely welcome as long as the gathering is not excessively rowdy and remains respectful of our neighbors. If you plan to have more than the 24 booked overnight guests actually sleeping at the property, please inform us in advance to secure permission (additional charges will apply for unauthorized overnight guests).
Standard check-in is at 4:00 PM, and standard check-out is at 11:00 AM. We utilize a convenient smart-lock self-check-in process, so you can arrive and easily settle in on your own schedule.
